Advance Development Solutions Initiative (ADSI) Visits RMRDC to Explore Partnership Opportunities

A delegation from the Advance Development Solutions Initiative (ADSI) recently visited the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) to discuss potential partnership opportunities. 
The ADSI team led by the President, Dr. Ogochukwu Soludo met with the Director General of RMRDC, Prof. Nnanyelugo M. Ike-Muonso and directors of the Council to explore areas of collaborations.

The visit aimed to identify common goals and objectives between the two organizations, particularly in the areas of process technology development, innovation and industrial growth.
Dr. Ogochukwu stated that the organization has been in existence for just two years but with many scored card credited to them. He outlined some of the organization’s achievements to include agricultural development: poultry, aqua culture, agro farming, technology innovation, manufacturing and so on.

“Our organization is into a lot, we support entrepreneurship development, we have technology breakthroughs where we produced the wonder stove that burns with diamond blocks, charcoal and sand. This will be launched soon. We also have strong collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, SMEDAN etc. geared towards economic growth and development,“ he said.

The RMRDC Director General, Prof. Nnanyelugo lauded ADSI many achievements within just 2 years and reiterated the Councils commitment in partnership that is result oriented. He said the area of process technology development could be explored by both parties and urged them to carefully strategize for a specific areas of collaboration, highlighting the Council’s mandate to promote the development and utilization of Nigerians’ raw materials.

The Director, indigenous technology and entrepreneurship Department, Mrs. Rachael Kotso remarked that ADSI has great potentials and said she looks forward to a strategic collaborate with them. She observed that one of the Council’s mandate is to develop indigenous technology and the Council has done alot in that regard. She urged the team to also visit the technology innovation center to have a glimpse of the many Council’s innovation and technology development.

The Director, Agriculture and agro- allied Raw materials Department, Dr. Seb Ebierekwe expressed enthusiasm for the potential partnership, which could lead to joint research, technology transfer, and capacity building initiatives. He said ADSI should articulate specific areas of partnership so that the ball can be set rolling.

The Director Corporate Services Department, Mr. Chukwuma Ngaha acknowledged that the visit marked the beginning of promising collaboration between ADSI and RMRDC, poised to drive industrial development and economic growth in Nigeria.
