The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Kebbi State Coordinating Office, successfully conducted the second series of its Performance Management System (PMS) hands-on training today, with full participation from staff members.
The session was facilitated by Miss Halima Muhammad Bagudu, who provided a comprehensive, practical walkthrough of the PMS platform, focusing on task assignment workflows and performance tracking.
The training began with an overview of the Council’s five core goals, laying the foundation for understanding how individual roles align with broader institutional objectives. Participants were then guided through the identification and alignment of Key Result Areas (KRAs) and how to formulate clear, measurable objectives within the PMS structure.
A major highlight of the training was the deep dive into the Task Manager feature, a central component of the platform that enables real-time assignment, tracking, and feedback on tasks. Staff engaged with live demonstrations, gaining first-hand experience in using the system effectively.
The session was described by many participants as impactful and timely, offering valuable insights into the council’s digital workflow and accountability mechanisms. Staff expressed appreciation for the hands-on approach, which they say will enhance performance and improve coordination across departments.
The Kebbi State Office remains committed to ensuring full adoption and effective utilisation of the PMS framework as directed by headquarters.
