The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Kaduna State coordinating office, joined forces with Alzira’a Tech Company to Champion organic Fertilizers and Smart Agricultural Innovations at a one-day Agro-tech program held in Kaduna. The State Coordinator Mr. J S Mutallab, was represented by Principal Scientific Officer, Hajiya Maryam Zarma. The event brought together Farmers, fertiliser distributors, Government representatives, and Agro-tech Stakeholders to explore sustainable solutions for enhancing Nigeria’s agricultural output and environmental resilience.
Key highlights included live demonstrations of Alzira’a Tech’s GreenGrow Liquid Fertiliser and Organic Compost, scientifically proven to improve soil health and crop yields while reducing ecological footprints. The CEO of Small Home Farmers, Hajiya Hajara Yusuf Dan Tsoho, shared testimonies of her success with Green Grow products, citing increased productivity in potato, vegetable, and Stevia cultivation, alongside her empowerment initiatives for over 800 women in sustainable home farming.
Strategic discussions between RMRDC and Alzira’a Tech centered on the Council’s 30% Value Addition Initiative, currently under legislative review, and collaborative plans to address raw material supply chain gaps hindering Agro-tech growth. Alzira’a Tech also confirmed participation in RMRDC’s upcoming Africa Raw Materials Summit in Abuja, signaling a shared commitment to advancing Nigeria’s agricultural sector through innovation and policy alignment.
This partnership exemplifies how technology and local expertise can revolutionize farming practices, ensuring food security and economic prosperity for rural communities, The collaboration underscores RMRDC’s dedication to fostering public-private synergies that align with national goals for agricultural sustainability and value chain development.
