A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), First Triumph Development Foundation (FTDF) has commended the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) for its display of knowledge in raw materials available in Nigeria and their value addition when the NGO visited on educational tour with some group of students.

The students were educated on the various raw materials; both agro and mineral raw materials richly embedded in Nigeria. They were also taken to a tour in the RMRDC Resource center where all the raw materials are on display and the various states you can locate them.
Presenting his remarks, the Executive Director of the Foundation, Mr. Funso Oluwadimimu, applauded the Council for the wealth of knowledge shared with the students and explained that the NGO is eager to educate and create awareness on Nigerian children especially the girl child on the inherent abundant raw materials in Nigeria and ways to exploit them thereby creating jobs for themselves in the future.
”The objective is to educate school children about the huge numbers of raw materials in Nigeria as well as identifying the economic importance and benefits to the children now and in the future”, the executive director stated.
He said, “The foundation is a non-governmental organization committed to driving impactful programs across key thematic areas, including Education, Health, Livelihood, Empowerment & Advocacy, and also championing policies that promote social welfare and economic development of vulnerable communities.
Oluwadimimu also noted that the objective of the organisation is aimed at supporting access to quality education for children and aspiring learners, providing healthcare interventions to vulnerable communities, equipping individuals with skills and opportunities for self-sustainability, food security and management of hunger.
The Founder urged Nigerians to support the initiatives aimed at improving the lives of citizens, particularly children, the girl child and the less privilege.
He noted that with adequate support, the foundation will be able to expand its reach, implement more life-changing programs, and ensure that children especially the girl child, receive the education and care they deserve.
The Foundation is said to also advocate for gender equality, and youth empowerment amongst others.
