Access Bank ARM Pension Visit RMRDC Osun State Office

In a bid to sensitize staff on their pension remittance, Access Bank ARM Pension recently paid a courtesy visit to the Osun State chapter of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) coordinating office. The visit, which took place on August 25, 2025, aimed to educate staff on the process and benefits of their retirement savings plan.

The Access Bank ARM Pension team was led by Mrs. Nike Sotomi, expressed gratitude to the Osun-RMRDC State coordinating office for the warm welcome and opportunity to collaborate. Mrs. Sotomi stated, “We are thrilled to be here today at the Osun-RMRDC State coordinating office, and we appreciate the warm reception we’ve received. This visit is a testament to our commitment to educating and sensitizing staff on the importance of retirement savings planning. We believe that by working together, we can empower individuals to take control of their financial futures and build a more secure tomorrow.”

Mrs. Sotomi outlined the key features and benefits of Access Bank ARM Pension’s retirement savings plan, highlighting the multi-fund structure, flexible contribution options and withdrawal conditions. She explained that the pension fund offers four RSA funds, each tailored to an individual’s age and risk profile, and noted that staff can make regular contributions, voluntary contributions, or additional voluntary contributions to their Retirement Savings Account (RSA).

“We are excited about the potential for collaboration and partnership between Access Bank ARM Pension and RMRDC,” Mrs. Sotomi added. “By pooling our resources and expertise, we can create a more comprehensive and sustainable solution for retirement savings planning. We look forward to working together to promote economic development and improve the lives of Osun State residents.”

RMRDC Repositioning Nigeria’s Raw Materials Sector for Industrialisation, Says DG

In his welcome address, the Osun State Coordinator of RMRDC, Mr. Saheed Adeyemi, warmly welcomed the Access Bank ARM Pension team and expressed his appreciation for their visit. He highlighted the Council’s core mandate of promoting and coordinating the development of agricultural, solid mineral and other natural resources in the State, and noted that the partnership with Access Bank ARM Pension aligns with their goal of fostering synergy and collaboration between the public and private sectors. Mr. Adeyemi emphasized the potential benefits of the partnership, stating that it could leverage resources and expertise to promote economic development and improve the lives of Osun State residents.

The staff were informed about the different fund types, including Fund I, II, III, and IV, as well as Fund VI, a non-interest fund with two types: Active Non-Interest Fund and Retiree Non-Interest Fund. During the session, staff members had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify doubts about the pension scheme. Engr. Adams O.O inquired about migrating between funds under the multi-fund structure, while Mr. Adeleke Adelakun asked about transferring from another PFA to Access Bank ARM Pension. Mrs. Sotomi provided detailed explanations, assuring staff that migration is flexible and can be easily done through the Access Bank ARM Pension mobile app.

The visit was deemed a success, with staff members expressing appreciation for the knowledge shared and the clarity provided on the pension scheme. Access Bank ARM Pension’s efforts to educate and sensitize staff on their retirement savings plan are a testament to their commitment to helping individuals plan for a secure retirement.

 Mr. Adeyemi expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the courtesy visit by Access Bank ARM Pension, noting that the session had achieved its objective of educating staff on the retirement savings plan. “Today’s visit has been enlightening, and I’m pleased that our staff now have a better understanding of the pension scheme and its benefits,” he said. “This partnership is a step in the right direction, and we look forward to continued collaboration with Access Bank ARM Pension to promote economic development and improve the lives of Osun State residents.”
