The event will provide a platform for MSMEs to showcase their products, connect with potential investors, and gain access to essential resources for sustainable growth. A notable feature of the Trade-A-Thon is RMRDC’s participation on its designated day, November 28, 2024.
Speaking on behalf of BTG Africa, Dr. Delight Owoyemi, emphasized RMRDC’s plans to hold a Raw Materials Innovation Clinic during the event. The clinic will offer insights on raw material sourcing, product development, and industrial innovation, underscoring the Council’s role in supporting MSME growth.
The acting State Coordinator of RMRDC Calabar, Mr. Obot Anozeng Eteng, expressed his appreciation for the initiative, stating that the Calabar Trade-A-Thon aligns with RMRDC’s mission to enhance raw materials development and drive industrial growth in Nigeria. He further noted that the Director General of RMRDC, Prof. Nnanyelugo M. Ike-Muonso, strongly advocates collaborative opportunities and assured that the proposal would be presented to him for approval.
The Calabar Trade-A-Thon 2024 is expected to create a significant impact by fostering innovation and facilitating economic growth within the region.
