Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA) recently, hosted a meeting with the Anambra State office of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) to discuss the status of the Kaolin factory in Ukpor, Anambra State.

The meeting was part of the Agency’s effort to identify and optimize previously abandoned projects, as mandated by the State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo
During the meeting, MD ANSIPPA, Mr. Mark Okoye expressed gratitude to the RMRDC for their participation in ensuring the factory is revived. He emphasized the potential impact of the Kaolin Processing Facility on the mining and processing industry in Anambra State. He said the State is committed to investigating the current situation and effecting necessary changes to ensure the completion of the Kaolin Processing project.



The Anambra State Coordinator, Mr. Dara Okechukwu thanked the State Government for revisiting the project and emphasized the need for the State to revive the project to boost the economic well-being of the people. “Once completed, the facility is expected to create thousands of jobs for the people of Anambra and boost their economy”, he said.
He stated that the Director General, Prof. Nnanyelugo M. Ike- Muonso is committed to viable collaborations that will turn the economy of Nigeria around.
