In a strategic move to foster industrial collaboration ahead of the forthcoming Africa Raw Materials Summit, the Sokoto State Office of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) has engaged Rahamaniyyah Fertilizer Company Limited for partnership and participation.
Leading the delegation, the State Coordinator of RMRDC, Mrs. Nadia Bawa, paid a courtesy visit to the company’s facility in Sokoto, where she was received by Mr. Saatish Rathore, a senior representative of Rahamaniyyah Fertilizer Company.
During the visit, Mrs. Bawa formally presented an invitation to the Africa Raw Materials Summit—an international platform focused on unlocking the potential of Africa’s raw materials sector and driving sustainable industrial growth across the continent.
Highlighting the relevance of the summit to the State, Mrs. Bawa emphasized its potential to stimulate investment, encourage value addition, and create employment opportunities through the effective harnessing of local raw materials. She also underscored the need for collaboration with key industrial players such as Rahamaniyyah Fertilizer Company, noting their critical role in Sokoto’s economic development.
In response, Mr. Rathore expressed appreciation for the engagement and commended RMRDC’s proactive approach to fostering meaningful industrial partnerships. He assured the Council of the company’s commitment to participating in the summit and supporting initiatives that align with Sokoto State’s industrial development agenda.
This engagement marks a significant step towards enhancing industry-government collaboration aimed at boosting local content development and accelerating economic transformation in Sokoto State.
