The Katsina State Coordinating Office of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) paid a working visit recently to the Katsina Youth Craft Village (KYCV), a government-owned centre for entrepreneurship and skills training. The visit aimed to raise awareness about the upcoming African Raw-Materials Summit 2025 and to strengthen the partnership between the two agencies.
During the visit, discussions focused on how both sides could take part in the summit and other ways they can work together. The State Coordinator, Mr. Abubakar , pointed out areas where both agencies could support each other, including entrepreneurship, innovation, developing business clusters, and training on how to make better use of resources.

In response, the Managing Director of KYCV, Engr. Kabir Abdullahi Kofar Sore, thanked RMRDC for selecting KYCV as a partner and confirmed his agency’s full commitment to participate in the upcoming summit, no matter the schedule.
