The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) and Moje Development have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at promoting industrialization and attracting investors to Oyun Local Government Area and Kwara State at large.
This collaboration was formalized during the Investors’ Forum organized by Moje Development as part of the coronation activities of His Royal Majesty, Adesoye Adebowale Jimoh.
According to the RMRDC State Coordinator for Kwara, Mrs. Adewumi Lydia Oluwafunke, explained that the partnership will harness the state’s abundant natural resources while taking advantage of Erin-Ile’s strategic location to access regional markets and enhance trade opportunities.

Mrs. Adewumi emphasized the crucial role of value addition in the optimal development and utilization of Nigeria’s natural resources. She noted that the 30% value addition bill is poised to significantly boost the nation’s economic growth, drive industrial development, and support job creation efforts.
Also speaking, the Kabiyesi reaffirmed Erin-Ile’s commitment to the effective development and utilization of the raw materials available in the community. He pledged the town’s readiness to work closely with RMRDC in achieving its mandate.
Both parties described the partnership as long overdue and expressed optimism that the renewed collaboration will deliver concrete benefits for the development of Oyun LGA and Kwara State.
