The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) Christian Fellowship hosted a vibrant and spiritually uplifting end-of-year Christmas Carol on December 4, 2024. The event, held at the RMRDC Event Center in Abuja, featured various inspiring activities and performances that brought together staff, dignitaries, and guests.

The Director-General of RMRDC, Prof. Nnanyelugo M. Ike-Muonso, was ably represented by Engr. Emmanuel Kwaya, Director, Technology Development Department (TDD).
In his address, the DG expressed heartfelt gratitude to the RMRDC Christian Fellowship for organizing such a meaningful event. He also commended the dedication of the fellowship’s executive members charging them to aim higher by producing their own music album in the coming year. As a token of appreciation and encouragement, he presented 10 copies of the book Living with Eternity in View, authored by his late wife, Mrs. Kwaya, to the fellowship.
The choirs delivered moving renditions of Christmas carols, with the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) Choir captivating the audience with their harmonious melodies. The RMRDC Christian Fellowship Choir added a creative flair by presenting a drama titled Unity, which emphasized the importance of togetherness in achieving shared goals.

Pastor Isaac Abioye, the guest minister, delivered a powerful sermon on the theme of unity. He highlighted that unity holds a special place in God’s heart, surpassing even prayers. “Disunity brings calamity, poverty, and strife, but when we work in unity, we attract God’s presence and blessings,” he said, urging all to prioritize unity in their personal and professional lives.
Earlier, the Chairperson, Board of Trustees RMRDC Christian Fellowship, Director, Directorate of Legal & Board Services of the Council, Barr (Mrs) Ngozi Keshi introduced the guest speaker to take the charge, citing the Book of John 6 verse 63 and urged everyone to pay close attention during the sermon.

The Special Adviser to the DG on Finance, Dr. Chima Obi, delivered the closing remarks, expressing gratitude to the DG for supporting the event and commending Engr. Kwaya for his representation. She also thanked all Directors, staff, and participants for making the occasion a success.
Adding a festive touch to the occasion were beautiful performances by choirs from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) and the RMRDC Christian Fellowship.
