The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Anambra State Coordinating office Awka, has extended warm congratulations to Honorable Mark Okoye on his recent appointment as the Managing Director of the recently established South-East Development Commission (SEDC), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking at the event of his appointment, the Anambra State Coordinator, Dr. (Mrs) Uche Arinze-Nwosu congratulated him on his appointment and also extended the council’s goodwill.
She stated that as the CEO of Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA), before his recent appointment, Hon. Okoye gave RMRDC Anambra State Coordinating Office the platforms to always showcase the vast agro and industrial mineral potentials in the state to the array of investors free of charge, an opportunity that would ordinarily have caused the council millions of naira.
“He is always excited in helping the council to achieve her mandate within the state in areas of exhibition and investment drives along the various industrial mineral value chains the state has comparative advantage”, she stated.
Dr. Uche said RMRDC is elated to celebrate this remarkable achievements and contributions to regional development, citing his passion for innovation, job creation, and resource optimization.
She expressed optimism that SEDC will collaborate with RMRDC in advancing projects and policies that align with the shared goal of economic growth.

“We look forward to working closely with Hon. Okoye and the SEDC team to explore synergies that will promote industrialization and harness the region’s raw materials potential,” the state Coordinator added.
His appointment is expected to bring a fresh wave of innovation and inclusiveness to the commission’s developmental agenda, giving renewed hope to the people of the region.
