The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Ondo State Coordinating Office, made a strong impression at the 2025 End-of-Year Get-Together of the Forum of Heads of Federal Government Establishments and Institutions, held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure.
Led by the State Coordinator, Mrs. Tejumola Folasade A., alongside Mrs. Oluremi M.R., Scientific Officer, RMRDC used the platform to reinforce its mandate of promoting value addition and strengthening partnerships that support Nigeria’s industrial growth.

The event featured dignitaries from across the state and a keynote lecture on “Collaboration and Partnership: Opportunities Between Government Agencies, Private Sector, and Civil Society Organizations.” The lecture highlighted the crucial role of synergy in national development.
In her goodwill message, Mrs. Folasade emphasized the importance of at least 30% value addition, especially for civil servants who are investors or entrepreneurs. She stressed that value addition is central to economic diversification and showcased how RMRDC continues to support stakeholders with technical expertise, research-backed guidance, and raw materials development initiatives.
The gathering ended with a collective call for stronger collaboration among government agencies and partners. RMRDC reaffirmed its commitment to driving innovation, boosting local raw materials utilization, and supporting sustainable development across Ondo State and Nigeria.
