The intersection of these two concepts presents substantial opportunities to address critical challenges such as waste management, resource scarcity, job creation, and poverty reduction. Here’s a closer look at how entrepreneurial initiatives can be leveraged with Nigeria’s circular economy.

Understanding the Circular Economy in Nigeria: The circular economy model emphasizes reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling products to extend their lifecycle and maximize resource efficiency. In Nigeria, where rapid population growth and urbanization intensify waste production and resource depletion, the circular economy is essential. Circular practices in Nigeria should focus on recycling plastics, converting waste to energy, repurposing agricultural by-products, and implementing repair and refurbishing services, all of which create economic opportunities while reducing environmental impact.
