The Niger State Coordinating Office of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) has organized an In-House comprehensive training session aimed at strengthening the professional capacity of its workforce. The Niger State Coordinator of the RMRDC, Dr. Abdulrasheed Mohammed, said the training exercise was also designed to enhance the staffs understanding of the Council’s mandate, improve efficiency, and equip them with new viable ideas to maximize investment-driven opportunities within the raw materials sector.
Dr. Abdulrasheed Mohammed, underscored the importance of continuous training in achieving the Council’s vision by saying that, “In addition to recent trainings on Performance Management System (PMS), this training was carefully structured to expose staff to the council’s operational strategies, emerging trends in raw materials development, and the benefits that come with regular attendance and commitment to duty”.
Dr. Abdulrasheed noted that the programme reflected RMRDC’s dedication to building a highly skilled and motivated workforce capable of driving innovation and economic growth in Niger State and beyond.
Dr. Abdulrasheed Mohammed, therefore, encouraged participants to apply the knowledge gained to improve service delivery and contribute meaningfully to the council’s research and development objectives in line with zeal and advocacy of the RMRDC Director-General Prof. Nnanyelugo Ike-Muonso.

Participants engaged in an interactive sessions during the training, including a Senior Scientific Officer, Mrs. Zafirah Zakari Sabo, Scientific Officer I, Aisha Ishaq, Planning Officer II, Umar Salihu Adamu and other staff in attendance commended the initiative, describing the training as timely and impactful as they all expressed optimism that the exercise would leave staff better informed, more motivated, and ready to implement innovative ideas that will strengthen the council’s operations and service delivery in Niger State.
