Lifeline Care Association has lauded the Director General of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council, Professor Nnanyelugo M. Ike -Muonso, for his leadership and continued support for partnerships that promote national development.
The association, which focuses on road safety advocacy and emergency preparedness, noted that its achievements had been made possible through strong collaboration with stakeholders such as RMRDC.
In a New Year goodwill letter signed by the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Lifeline Care Association, Prof. Anya O. Anya, the organisation expressed deep appreciation to the DG and the Council for their cooperation, trust, and support over the past year.
According to Prof. Anya O. Anya, Lifeline Care Association recently marked its twentieth anniversary, a milestone it described as a period of modest but impactful achievements in advancing its mission of saving lives and strengthening community resilience.
It added that going forward, the organisation plans to deepen stakeholder engagement, expand evidence-based road safety interventions, and strengthen its capacity for rapid and coordinated rescue operations through the use of technology, while maintaining accountability, innovation, and alignment with national and global best practices.
The association also expressed optimism about strengthening ties with RMRDC this year, as both institutions work towards safer roads and more resilient communities across the country.
Responding, the Director General of the RMRDC reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to partnerships that support sustainable development, innovation, and national industrial growth, stressing that collaboration with credible organisations remains central to the Council’s mandate.
He appreciated the goodwill message and assured the association of the Council’s readiness to continue engaging with relevant stakeholders whose work complements government efforts in safety, development, and value addition initiatives.
