On June 23, 2025, the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) Osun State Office successfully conducted an in-house training on Performance Management System (PMS) and Frappe HR Tool at the State Office Secretariat in Abeere, Osogbo. The training aimed to enhance staff proficiency in leveraging technological platforms to evaluate employee performance, promote effective staff attendance and boost punctuality, ultimately driving overall productivity.
The training equipped staff with the necessary skills to utilize the PMS and Frappe HR Tool, enabling them to streamline HR processes, track attendance and monitor performance in real-time. By leveraging these tools, staff can optimize their workflow, improve efficiency and contribute to the organization’s success.

The training was expertly facilitated by Engr. Adams O.O, the PMS Desk Officer at Osun RMRDC, who guided participants through the core features of the PMS portal. These features included objective and goal setting, performance appraisal and real-time monitoring. Additionally, participants were introduced to key modules within the Frappe HR system, such as digital leave application, attendance tracking and employee data management.

The Osun-RMRDC State Coordinator, Mr. Adeyemi Saheed. A in his remarks, emphasized the significance of the initiative, highlighting its potential to enhance staff productivity and overall performance. He noted that the training was a strategic move to equip staff with the necessary skills to leverage technology in their daily operations.
Participants who spoke on the training expressed their appreciation for the initiative, noting that it would significantly improve their ability to manage employee performance and streamline HR processes. They praised Engr. Adams O.O for his effective facilitation and commended the State Coordinator for his visionary leadership.
The training marked a significant step towards enhancing the capacity of RMRDC Osun staff to utilize technology in driving productivity and efficiency. With the new skills acquired, staff are expected to perform their duties more effectively, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
