The Cross River State Coordinating Office of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) recently hosted an official working visit by the Deputy Director, Software Development Division of the Department of ICT Infrastructure Management Department of the Council, as part of efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and strengthen information technology infrastructure across the Council’s state offices.
The visit focused on assessing computer systems within the office, activating antivirus software, and verifying staff strength records in line with the Council’s drive towards improved digital infrastructure and accurate administrative data management.
Speaking during an interactive session with members of staff, Mr. Isangedighi stressed the importance of professionalism, discipline and adherence to sound work ethics in the discharge of official responsibilities. He urged staff to maximise the opportunities provided by the Performance Management System (PMS), describing the platform as a critical instrument for monitoring productivity, enhancing accountability and driving institutional growth.
He further underscored the need for unity, teamwork and mutual respect among staff, noting that cooperation and dedication to duty remain indispensable to creating a conducive and productive work environment.
Responding, Cross River State Coordinator, Mr Obot Anozeng Eteng expressed appreciation to the management of RMRDC under the leadership of Prof. Nnanyelugo Ike-Muonso for the initiative. He said this will not only support work efficiency and productivity but also build the capacity of staff.
He also commended the useful and valuable insights shared during the engagement. He noted that the staff will ensure commitment to upholding the mandate of of the Council.
Staff members also extended their deep appreciation and pledged to uphold professionalism, institutional excellence and effective service delivery in line with the strategic objectives of the Council.
